Hi, I'm Shonté, founder of Forest Street Co.

Forest Street Co. was created in honor of my grandmother and the street that shaped my childhood. Growing up, I watched her carry so much for everyone around her with strength, grace, and love. She taught me that a bag carries more than belongings, it carries memories, responsibilities, dreams, and the pieces of life we hold closest.

As a veteran, entrepreneur, and mother of three, I understand what it means to juggle multiple roles while showing up for the people who depend on you. That experience became the foundation of Forest Street Co. and inspired our message: For the Ones Who Carry It All.

Forest Street Co. was created in honor of my grandmother and the street that shaped my childhood. Watching her carry so much for everyone around her inspired a brand dedicated to the people who carry it all every day.

The First Collection

The first Forest Street Co. collection began with the ExecuTote, a bag designed for ambitious women balancing work, family, and everyday life. It represented everything the brand stands for: functionality, style, and purpose.

The First Orders

Every order felt personal. From packing products by hand to seeing customers carry Forest Street Co. bags in their daily lives, each purchase was a reminder that this vision was becoming a reality.

Growth & Expansion
